In years of developing in-ear monitors, 10mm dynamic drivers tend to strike a better balance between sound quality and wearing comfort. In order to better demonstrate the complex elements and richness of the sound, we have gone deeper into the core process of dynamic speakers, once again through a new alloy composite process, low density magnesium and aluminum molecules composite molding, and then combined with polymer materials for polymerization of the high internal consumption diaphragm, to create a low-distortion dynamic speakers, so that the Yacht10 is more adaptive, and at the same time was able to show its dynamic sound and open soundstage performance.

Yacht10 is the first IEM model to be designed under the concept of ‘voyage & discovery’, where we boldly combined the lines of an armored-like casing with ergonomic wearing and a newly crafted 10mm magnesium-aluminum dome with low-distortion speakers, to deliver a richness of detail in the music, and a dynamic musical performance.

Yacht is our first series of earphones designed under the concept of "voyage & discovery".

In the Yacht series, we will, on the one hand, explore the tonal characteristics of different speakers, so that the listener can feel the match between the sound of the earphones and the expression of music; on the other hand, we also hope that through the optimisation of the driver and the acoustic structure of the Yacht series, solo-speakers will be able to show the diversity of their wonderful sound.

10mm high performance low distortion dynamic speaker

The core of Yacht10 is a 10mm diameter high performance dynamic speaker. We have deeply explored the core processes of dynamic speaker's diaphragm materials, coils, cores, damping, etc., repeated comparisons, and finally customized this new low-distortion 10mm magnesium-aluminum dome composite speaker, which has a THD+N distortion of less than 0.4% across the full frequency range of 20-20kHz, and even lower than 0.045% and 0.098% at 500Hz and 1kHz, respectively.

The magnesium and aluminum molecular composite molding of the dome allows the diaphragm to be lightweight and at the same time rigid, which enhances tone and detail performance.

The polymerized diaphragm suspension provides the proper internal resistance factor and reduces the resonance that is unwanted.

The dual magnetic cores provide 1.2T of magnetic flux for powerful drive, and the high-tension, lightweight CCAW coils provide over 150N/mm² of tensile strength, a 50% enhancement over regular CCAWs, allowing the earphones to be easier to drive while also providing excellent control.

L.S.W. (Low Standing Wave) acoustic chamber and fine-tuned airflow structure

For dynamic speakers, it is vital that the airflow is balanced to improve the naturalness of the tone and even the soundstage. For this 10mm magnesium-aluminum dome high-performance composite speaker, we reconstructed the Low Standing Wave (L.S.W.) metal rear chamber, finely tuning the volume of air intake and the airflow, so that the dynamics of the speaker can be improved, but also to make the listening experience more pleasant.

Selected lightweight and high-strength aluminum alloy

Yacht10's housing is specially selected the T6063 aluminum alloy, while combining high strength/high plasticity/high corrosion resistance/high toughness/lightweight and other characteristics. And high toughness and high rigidity of the housing material, can greatly reduce the resonance and distortion of the dynamic driver, to provide a good acoustic transmission way.

High precision CNC cutting process

Yacht10 adopts CNC cutting process to keep the overall density of the earphone, after repeatedly grinding and polishing by hand, supplemented by anodic oxidation treatment, the surface is very delicate and smooth to touch.

Comfortable and stable ergonomic fit

Despite its armor-like form factor, the Yacht10 strikes a balance between acoustic performance and ergonomic wearability, ensuring optimal sound transmission, as well as making sure that the Yacht10 adapts to our long-term wearing and listening.
